What it is

Ready-to-apply.
Built to the assembly.

Foam and adhesive die cut parts are converted components shaped to the exact areas where an assembly needs cushioning, sealing, attachment or surface protection. Parts may be supplied as pads, frames, strips, gaskets or multi-feature profiles with holes and cut-outs.

The geometry, substrate, adhesive configuration and liner are reviewed together because each influences how a part is handled and applied in your assembly process.

Selection & configuration

Specify the functional layer.

Share the intended function and assembly conditions
alongside the material requirement.

Typical materials

  • Foam cushioning and sealing materials
  • Single- or double-sided adhesive constructions
  • Project-specified grades, including 3M, tesa or Nitto grades when required

Typical applications

  • Cushioning and surface protection
  • Sealing and gap filling
  • Mounting and component retention

Customization

Custom profile, material thickness, openings, adhesive side, liner and part presentation can be discussed from your drawing and assembly method.

RFQ requirements

  • Drawing, sample or required profile
  • Substrate / adhesive / liner requirements
  • Quantity, application surfaces and critical dimensions

Sampling & second-source support

Confirm the part’s fit and application sequence before production.

Samples can be used to review fit and assembly handling before production approval. For an existing part, an approved drawing and material specification provide the starting point for evaluating an additional supply source.
