Manufacturing context
A clearer starting point for technical sourcing of custom converted components.
Rilbeck supports OEM sourcing through selected converting resources in China. Each review begins with the drawing, material requirement and application context, then moves to a practical discussion of the required process and acceptance criteria.
How the review works
Rilbeck defines the required part context first.
Process and quality requirements follow from that context.
Drawing, material specification, assembly condition and requested quantity establish the starting point.
Converting steps, material construction and handling requirements are reviewed against the defined part.
Critical dimensions, inspection points, packaging expectations and required documentation should be agreed with the RFQ.
Prototype or low-volume review can support fit and application evaluation before production approval.
Quality discussion
A production image alone does not establish a quality claim. For each RFQ, Rilbeck asks the buyer to identify the part-specific requirements that matter, including drawing revision, material grade, inspection points and documentation expectations.
Supplier-specific process information, test records or certifications should be shared only after verification for the relevant program. Rilbeck does not present third-party certifications as its own.
RFQ checklist
A complete request reduces ambiguity
before sampling or production discussion.
Share a PDF, DXF, DWG, STEP file or an existing part sample when available.
Identify the specified grade, thickness, stack-up or approved alternative requirements.
Describe the interface, assembly method, adhesive requirement and any critical handling needs.
Include prototype or production need, estimated quantity and annual volume when known.
